3 Monkeys…..πŸ™ˆπŸ™‰πŸ™Š!!

Hi!! My name is “Gamma”. We are three brothers named “Alpha”, “Beta” and “Gamma”. We were free willed and happy during our childhood days in Africa.

It is often said that happiness does not last long. Our parents died , basically killed by the militants in Mozambique.

We had to run away to save our lives. Finally we joined a refugee camp in nearby area which had protection from the millitans. It was surrounded by Army. They gave us food to eat and there were many like us who hadn’t eaten. We made friends with them with good bonding. We shared our old memories all night about escaping the horrible situation.

One fine day we were adopted by a rich man from Kenya whose wife recently died out of illness. He seemed like a nice man.

We were officially his Sons and he became our father without any blood relation. We were always told that blood relation is the strongest relation. But the friends we made who were like our brothers and would stand up for us any given day. The father who adopted us without worrying that we had no genetic relation with him.

Our life in Kenya was very peaceful. He took care good care of us with good education, food , clothing and a house to live.

When we were at out teenage our father would teach each of us a life lesson which he said he learnt from a great man abroad.

For “Alpha” it was “Do not see anything bad!!”.

For “Beta” it was “Do not listen anything bad!!”

And finally for me “It was don’t say anything bad!!”. We obeyed all his teachings without questioning him as he was the very same person who saved us and gave us everything a child would desire and also lead us to a successful future.

Few years passed by and it was time for us to apply his teachings in real life. One day I saw a person beaten by a mob for some reason. As I was thought don’t say anything wrong I wasn’t able to identify which side should be taken by me. I mean the person who was beaten badly could have committed some crime or the people hitting him badly were the wrong ones?? So I kept quiet and left that place without taking any side.

The very same day “Alpha” went to buy some groceries. He sees a person trafficking young girls and boys for slavery. It’s a bad thing right?? Alpha walks away pretending he did not saw anything.

Lastly it was Beta’s turn. A shopkeeper shouting at his domestic help for being five minutes late. Calling him obsence names and everything to break him down. So this too is a bad thing?? So Beta escapes from there as fast as possible.

That night there was an awkward silence between all of us. We shared all our thoughts that we did not stand up for the right just because of our fake ideals.

Next day we discussed with our father our observations. He said It was my duty to teach you all something valuable. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take your consciousness into consideration. Different situations require different actions. I am happy that you all have learnt the lesson by yourselves!!”

DEW DROPS……. 🌲 πŸŒ²βœ¨πŸ’§πŸ’§!!

40 years back an Army official named “Sanjay” moved with his wife “Vibha” and two sons “Sameer and Sahil” who were 6 and 8 years old respectively to a remote area of Arunachal Pradesh, India named Bomdila. They were provided a very beautiful British type cottage as a quarter to stay. Getting posted in such a remote location was a matter of concern for them although the scenic beauty was great but there was little or no connectivity with other places. Snowfall with less food availability was a matter of concern too.

So “Sanjay and Vibha” decided to keep some cows for milk and chickens for meat. So they go to the nearby village to get few chickens and cows transported at their home. Initially it was difficult for them to connect with the locals due to language difference but finally they succeed at bargaining. They finally came back at time while the children were playing at the home.

As time passed by they made pretty close aquitances. After few days it was their younger son Sameer’s seventh Birthday. So Sanjay and Vibha planned a grand celebration for him. They went to their village aquitances and invited them.

Surprisingly most of them declined their invitation. It was kind of shocking and confusing for them as no one willing to visit them despite being close.

The very next day they get a call from one of their close friend “Doni”. He says Sanjay to come and meet him as soon as possible. Sanjay rushes at Doni’s place.

Sanjay asks Doni ” Hey! What happened??”

Why did you call me in such hurry??

Doni said “Please don’t be angry at us Villagers for declining your invitation!!. It is just that people are scared to go nearby the tree at your house. It has a spirit of an evil old man who lived at your current house his entire life. Many people feel him around them when they are nearby the tree. He committed many crimes and also killed his own son for marrying outside community”

Sanjay angrily tells Doni if it’s true why didn’t you all tell me before. I have already settled all my belongings. Now I need to search for a new house with the fear for my wife and kids.

“What if we cut or burn the tree!! Since the spirit is attached to the tree , he will be gone for good” says Sanjay. “What if the ghost harms you?” Doni says to Sanjay.

“I haven’t experienced any of that but I do believe in spirits and there must be something that’s the reason people were reluctant to visit our home. Better to get rid of it Doni” .

Doni says to Sanjay that he will arrange a priest next day so that the spirit will be captured while cutting the tree and there will be no more fear to the people.

That very night very strong earthquake occurred. All the houses nearby were destroyed and people came out of their homes.

Sanjay also came out with his family to save themselves. To his surprise he sees lighting and thunderstorms but only in his premises. The earthquake continued but only for the area in which he and his family lived.

All of a sudden all the metal pieces came flying towards them. Sanjay and his family tried to go back inside their house but the house fell down at a glance.

Multiple axes came towards them and Sanjay tried to protect his family despite knowing there is no escape. The weapons flying all of a sudden stopped and floated and then came the spirit of the old man for his revenge to make him go away.

Fear surrounded all of them. Then suddenly they realised the branches and roots of the tree grew bigger and removed all the weapons at a single hit. The roots grew in upward direction and surrounded the entire family in shape of a hut with fireflies inside it. Dewdrops oozed out of the tree, it cried of pain while using so much power to fight the old man’s spirit.

The “Soul of the Tree” saved them which they were about to cut and overpowered the old man’s spirit.

Note: Here the tree signifies the forest and the old man’s spirit is the pollution caused by industries. And there can be one more interpretation that the tree is the goodness inside all of us and the old man’s spirit is the evils which we have in our mind.

LAST HEARTBEAT β€οΈπŸ’•

Heart sized of a peanut, three fingers at each hands just like a miniature Barbie doll. My first glance was enough for her to fall in love with me when she saw me online.

“Hi! My Name is Motu and I am a dark Brown Syrian Hamster”. Wonder why I am called that….I have never been to Syria. But it seems like a nice place with trees, tunnels and food.

My owner “Ajil” had me transferred to his friend in a small box with windows living nearby her place. After sometime she came and took me.

Leaving my old friends was difficult for me. As I have never seen the outside world. This was the first time I had seen what the world looks from outside. Seeing giants shouting “peep peep” at each other, the first thing came to my mind was ” Ham- shit” this sucks man. I just wanted to go home.

Once I was taken by her, she tried to keep me inside a cage with a couple . An albino lady with red eyes and her blonde husband. Man he got agitated by seeing me, we had a though fight not nothing. Why would I hit on his wifey who looked furious and angry as hell always in attacking mode that too with Red eyes.

As I was fluffier and cuter than the other two she and her friends named me “Motu” meaning “fluffy or fat”. Next day I was shifted to another cage. Thank goodness πŸ™ no more fights. Her other friends Purvi, Prathama and Reema loved me a lot. Especially Reema kept on holding me.

You see I am a pure vegan. So I do have a lot of attitude πŸ˜‚. My day starts with carrots then corriander leaves and ends with broccoli. See it’s “Not slimy but satisfying” against the rule of Timon – the Meerkat.

One day the lady in white was about to have babies so her husband “Golu” was transferred kept with me. Her kids didn’t make it. Felt sorry for her. After few days he was was shifted again with her.

One day I got a huge gift. It was a new house bigger than the previous one with slides and a bigger wheel. I was the king , it had everything big like me.

Few months passed by and I got old. Maybe my day was near to go somewhere dark a place more darker than the tunnels our ancestors made to same us from predators. Next morning I was still and not moving at all , I heard my human friend say to her other friend “I don’t see him moving, he seems to breathe but is isn’t moving… That’s unlikely of him!!”. The other friend says we shall take him to a vetenary doctor. After some time we visit her friend place. They felt sad too looking at me.

After a while I was taken to the vet. He said “a hamster”. He gave me something to drink, I wasn’t in the condition to drink. Then he inserted a sword inside me. Lastly a shock….he gave me like in movies. I jumped at once at moved actively. Finally “A Ray of Hope” at everyone’s eye I could see. The doctor fella said I will be fine. Take him after sometime, I will take care of him.

My Friend came after sometime to take me with her. I was playing well. And others were happy too.

I had a good one week with her and others. I remember hiding all my food inside the sofa and under the fridge and the work they had to do keep it back inside.

This time after a week I left for good. I had my last heartbeat. My soul was out of my old , cute and fluffy body. I was still at home and I could see others getting sad.

I was burried in a garden with flowers specifically dandelions with the HOPE of getting a better afterlife.

Washing machine !!

Trying to hide from something which can’t be seen by anyone is the most difficult part. 65 year old “Charu” living with her son, daughter in law and grandchildren in Pune, experienced the same.

Her son recently bought an old washing machine from a shop which deals with used electrical appliances at low rates. She was furious at her son for bringing a low grade old washing machine as they belonged from a well to do family with high standards of living.

She told her son to get rid of it because it degraded her image of a high class elite lady. Seeing his mother getting disappointed he agreed to rent it out to some other family or group of bachelor friends. As there is a huge demand for electrical home appliances at rent.

“I am gonna take a nap” says Charubala to her son and goes back to her room. The moment she closes her eyes her subcontious mind plays a trick and she sees her son bargaining with the seller for the washing machine he bought just now.

“Stop it Son…I already told you that I don’t want this junk at my place” she says. She is inaudible to him and also not visible. All of a sudden she hears a voice “take me with you dear , why do you hate me so much?”. She is still not able to identify where the voice is coming from. Transiting from the current subconscious level to another point …..all she sees is darkness and multiple galaxies, stars, planets and eventually everything is quiet and calm in her mind.

She hears the voice again “why do you hate me so much?”. At that moment she realises the same old washing machine talking to her. She screams what are you, why are you following me?

” I am the creation which you hate the most….. dislike….. and many people embrace me happily despite having nothing in their lives. You have everything still you get so much worried by my slightest glance in form of a washing machine. I am God who came to you in the form of Poverty. Not to make you poor but to make you understand the plight of the poor and destitutes. To make to understand not to look down on them and help them. Imagine your life without your poor house maid, your driver and others. Still you treat them bad and insult them. Life without respect is no life…….no matter how much you earn.

With a confusing look at her face she wakes up. Her son asks her if she is fine. She simply smiles and says “For a rich man charity is the best way to please God”. Instead of renting the washing machine we should give it to our driver for free. I have earned a lot but distributed little. It’s time for me to change myself for good.

Creepy crawlies….. phobia!!

Creepy crawlies go away , little girl wants to play

VermiphobiaπŸ™„

HelminthophobiaπŸ₯Ί

Scoleciphobia😣

What are these heavy duty words? The answer to that all of them have the same meaning…..fear…..fear of what? Fear of worms…..thier very sight is enough to give you goosebumps and anxiety.

Anxiety while seeing little harmless crawling creatures like worms, centipedes etc. I always have fear that worms might crawl on me whenever I go to the garden. Once I see any caterpillar nearby I am out of that place at that moment.

I always wondered why some people were scared of Cockroaches and lizards……they are angels compared to worm like creatures. If some gives me 5000 bucks and tell me to handle a caterpillar I would give the same person 6000 bucks more to take it away.

My Dear caterpillar, Why don’t you directly transform into a beautiful butterfly instead of eating everything around then meditating out of guilt inside a coccon and then achieve “moksha” and fly away with your beautiful wings. Being vegetarian you guys should look like hamsters cute and fluffy and not cute and scary at the same time. And some of you with spikes makes you scarier than your smoother brothers.

It’s just like a human baby transforming into an elephant then eating everything green available after getting tired of so much work he goes for hybernation and eventually when the time is right transform into a pixie.

I don’t have any personal grudges with you all but you make me nervous whenever I am buy to buy a cauliflower 😬 or broccoli. And then find you inside my food….while cleaning.

I would like to add one more being to this list. The almighty “Train insect” with hundreds of legs centipedes aka “kankhajura”. I have heard stories about you getting into people’s brain traveling via ears and laying eggs. Coz of your looks I named you train insect when I was a child.

**Note: Nature is beautiful, nourishing and scary at the same time. All the creatures play an important role in balancing mother earth. Things stated above are my childhood perspective.

With time the fear was gone although I do creep out sometime when I see them.

Food Experiment gone wrong πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

What happens when a noob like person tries to be Gordon Ramsay, Walter White or the crazy Walter Bishop……..they screw up bad. Although I had cooked few times at my sister’s place so I had the basic idea of cooking.

We were three roomates me, Richa and Rachana. Occasionally during Saturday’s or Sundays one of my roommate Rachana would cook fish for us.

Then one fine day I planned to cook mushroom curry. We got onions, tomatoes and potatoes from hostel mess and mushrooms from an online delivery app.

We had all the raw materials apart from spices and induction. So we went to a senior’s room at 5pm when she was deep asleep. Irritatedly she opened the door and asked what do you need we said induction and some spices for cooking and she gave it to us. Once we came back to our room and started cooking we realized that few more things were missing 😣. Yeah that’s where we screwed up…..it’s not good to wake up someone who is deep asleep as warth from God falls upon usπŸ₯Ί.

Little we knew what was coming for us. The second time it was just me who went to her room…..and knocked the door. This time she furious opened the door and she was like take everything….that was quite funny actually…..she was like take this take that take garam masala , take salt.

Being in a shock I went to my room with the remaining ingredients. Every thing went well till now, our food looked good with great aroma till it was time for the last chemical to be added which was “NaCl”. While adding the salt it looked kind of different from the regular salt consistency. We just neglected the fact and added it. And then all of a sudden the unexpected happened.

Me and my roommates trying to figure out what just happened

Turned out it wasn’t the NaCl but NaHCO3 in common man’s language known as Baking powder which gave us the memorable day. The expected curry turned out to be a cake. The gravy turned into a active volcanic eruption and everything overflowed out like lava. We tried to wash it repair it again πŸ˜’ but the taste so overwhelming 😩 for us we had to discard the entire experiment πŸ˜‚. My Heart got scattered….. devastated and sad I was. Even that was not enough our neighbors Anjani and Tanu came to mock for fun. Typical “Virgo’s”. 🧐🧐

Although it was a failure at that time but an extremely memorable experience and an error story which I could tell my future friends.

Memers are the new Black!!

Ever wondered how Boring Facebook and Instagram would become if all the meme pages are removed at once. Not a single day goes by when my WhatsApp status is not updated with a funny meme or at least funny according to my brain.

Meme pages with great content are the lifeline of the modern social networking sites. Without memes social networking would be like food without salt.

Meanwhile memers be like….

“Hail to the memes” and “Glory to the memers”. Although being a meme page Admin is not easy as if someone does not like your content you could get a lot of bashing.

Memes are of so much influence that even political narratives can be changed. People in support of Right wing might like some page in support of their political agendas and the left wing will have their own narrative.

The interesting thing is without wasting much money one could easily target the opponent in a very funny and sarcastic manner.

Pages are made in such a way that they attract a specific audiences. Like pages popxo and pinkVilla attract a lot of teenage girls and wemen. Similarly pages MensXp are specifically targeted at males.

Some memes are so much close to reality and they give so much description of our day to day lives that too with a pinch of laughter.

Some of the movie scenes have become favourites of meme communities. Like the likes of Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in Hera Pheri , Modi ji and Rahul Gandhi memes, Tom and Jerry memes and the list goes on.

Memes are a source of smile although short lived but smiles are smiles which are contagious. I hope memers will continue their good work and make more people smile.

Adding some memes which might make your day. Enjoy scrolling fellas.

My Obsession for Showpieces

Whenever I enter Archie’s gallery or any gift shop the first thing that comes to my mind is that I want all of it. Although my salary stops me from doing that…..to be frank why would some buy a miniature diary which just looks like a diary but cannot be used costing a lot just because of the brand name.

It all started when I was almost 6 years old, my sister who was 16 then regularly bought decorative stuffs from shops and arranged it beautifully. I always wanted to play with these things although I knew these were not toys.

I was fascinated by the beauty of those showpieces. So slowly the show piece collection increased with time.

After that I started collecting these beauties for myself. My friends also gifted me showpieces during my birthdays.

Some of my collections are are more than 20 years old in good condition. I always aspire to make my house full to decoratives.
